GAS EMISSION HAZARD AND WAYS TO PREVENT IT

GAS EMISSION HAZARD AND WAYS TO PREVENT IT ©Adedeji, Adewale H.O.K People use a variety of heat sources to cook food, including gas, electricity, etcetera. Each of these heat sources can create indoor air pollution during cooking. Natural gas and propane stoves releases carbon monoxide, formaldehyde and other harmful pollutants into the air, which can be toxic to people and pets. When you use a gas stove, it emits poisonous gases called nitrogen oxides, including nitrogen dioxide, a respiratory irritant thought to trigger asthma. Spending too much of time in an enclosed kitchen, inhaling these fumes causes Carbon Monoxide to build up in your bloodstream, which can lead to severe tissue damage. When too much carbon monoxide is in the air, your body replaces the oxygen in your red blood cells with carbon monoxide. Carbon Monoxide poisoning is extremely serious and can be life threatening. High levels of natural gas exposure can cause natural gas poisoning, which is characterized by fatig

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS  © Adedeji, Adewale H.O.K New Year's resolutions are good ways to promise improvements to oneself and one's behavior, a “fresh start” to the new year - a new begining. But if chosen poorly, a resolution also can be a source of anxiety, disappointment and hopelessness. They tap into the abiding spirit of relentless self-improvement, and that can be so relentless that it translates into additional stress. Choosing an appropriate resolution — and realistic ways to follow — can help relieve some of those stress and anxiety in the journey ahead. Resolutions tend to focus on a few specific areas — health, wealth and relationships. The number one difficulty we encounter is that people make truly unrealistic, grandiose expectations. There's this temptation when the year switches from 2022 to 2023, then it's a fresh start and everything in the past is all history but those goals are more attainable when they're built on a better understanding of y

BRALESSNESS: An old Fashion Way or A New Style.

BRALESSNESS: An old Fashion Way or A New Style. © Adedeji, Adewale H.O.K. In Western society, since the 1960s, there has been a slow but steady trend towards bralessness among a number of women, especially millennials, who have expressed opposition to and are giving up wearing bras. In 2016, Allure magazine fashion director Rachael Wang wrote, "Going braless is as old as feminism, but it seems to be bubbling to the surface more recently as a direct response to Third Wave moments like #freethenipple hashtag campaign, increased trans-visibility like Caitlyn Jenner's Vanity Fair cover ... and Lena Dunham's show Girls. Women choose to go braless due to discomfort, health-related issues, their cost, and for social reasons, often having to do with self-acceptance and political expression. Women have protested the physical and cultural restrictions imposed by bras over many years. A feminist protest at the 1968 Miss America Contest is often seen as the beginning of the anti-bra m

NIGERIA: A MOLE HILL OR A MOUNTAIN

Every four years, we hear different stories from different political candidates. I keep asking when their promises will be fulfilled. When will the mercy of God show up? Who will help translate our dreams to reality? Who will save us from this so called political liars? All we have around us are "DEVILS IN AGBADA". We are really not asking for an angel or a saint, but we deserve good leaders that will have our interests in heart, leaders that will put first the people before any other thing. "There's always a light at the end of the tunnel" is all what we know and that's our believe. But for many decades, this country has been in a tunnel without getting to it's e

Evolution of the Computer System

This is another fantastic publication produced by Adedeji, Adewale H.O.K. He highlights how the Computer System evolves, the ages (generations) of the computer, and some other computer devices. Readers will really find this book interesting as it details the needful of computer.

Understanding the Computer System (A well structured project)

"Understanding the Computer System" is a book in which the Author has explained some facts about Information, Database, Binary Numbers, Computing Environment, Data Management, etc. It's not necessary for you to be working in a record office or an institution to understand the information conveyed in the book. However, it only intended to introduce ideas of the importance for later discussions of data processing and computing issues. There are various activities to draw the attention on your experience with computer system. This book is designed as a support in the series of tasks that involve the use of computers to varying degrees in computerised places as it aims to familiarise those who may be unacquainted with some of these basic computer concepts. The book has six primary aims. These are; 1. To introduce the key components of computer system (hardware, software, data, etc) . 2. To Acquaint readers with how computers work. 3. To present you

Basic Concepts of Computer Hardware and Software (another patent publication)

Basic Concepts of Computer Hardware and Software is another patent publication of the Noble Author. It explains the need for Computer Literacy. Information is POWER and Computers are AMPLIFIERS of information. Using a computer terminal and a retrieval program, the Liberian searched more than half a million documents in just a few minutes. There is necessity for Computer Literacy as far as we continue to live in this Computer Evolutionary World. This brings up the idea of putting some texts together to form a book titled - Basic Concepts of Computer Hardware and Software - for students of Computer.  Most people will find the usefulness of this book. The book also has activities at the end of each lesson for practical. If interested drop you details in the comment box, the Author will contact you back. Wireless Communications (one of his books)

The book describes in details how communication is done through wireless devices (i.e. from a Sender to a Receiver). It also covers some explanatory diagrams in it. Wireless operations permit services, such as a long-range communications, that are impossible or impractical to implement with the use of wires. The term is commonly used in the telecommunications industry to refer to telecommunications systems (e.g. radio transmitters and receivers, remote controls etc.) which use some form of energy (e.g. radio waves, acoustic energy, etc.) to transfer information without the use of wires. Information is transferred in this manner over both short and long distances. Wireless communication is the transfer of information between two or more points that are not connected by an electrical conductor. The most common wireless technologies use radio. With radio waves distances can be short, such as a few meters for television or as far as thousands or even millions of kilometers for deep
